| About UsUHY Turkey started to provide professional Certified Public Accountancy services in 1978 long before it would have the title "UHY", became a joint stock company in 1989, and was qualified to audit banks with the Independent Audit certificate obtained from the CMB (Capital Market Board), the insurance companies pursuant to the Insurance Control Law, and energy companies; and was entitled to the title of "Sworn in Certified Public Accountant" pursuant to the professional law being effective in the same year.
The Company currently continues to provide independent audit and Sworn in Certified Public Accountant services as well as other services as detailed below.
Our mission is to provide the services as requested by the clients through 35 years of experience and its quality team constantly trained and fostered to be younger, within the corporate structure.
With the globalization in the world markets our company established a partnership with UHY International to provide better services to Turkish clients and the foreign investors to be involved in the country; and in 1998 it became Turkish partner of UHY International as an international audit and financial advisory company.
In 2005 AVRUPA Serbest Muhasebecilik Ltd. Şti was established with the primary objective to provide services on returns, payrolls and bookkeeping subjects to the foreigners invested in Turkey; and UHY International decided to have this firm in its network after its review; and the name of the company was changed to UHY AVRUPA Serbest Muhasebecilik Ltd. Şti in 2009.
Being an American and English originated company UHY International, with its headquarters in London, the UK, is a financial audit and advisory company providing its service through its 242 offices in 76 countries in the world. The number of technical personnel currently working in such offices is 7,634 persons including the offices in Turkey.
UHY International was accepted in IFAC (International Federation of Accountants) the Forum of Firms as a member, with which only international networks are qualified to be registered and only limited number of audit firms are included. The Firm has been providing services in Africa, the Middle East, Europe, America, and Asia-Pacific regions.
UHY Turkey has established and currently provides with quite broad range of services under its roof to foreign and domestic clients through UHY-Uzman Yeminli Mali Müşavirlik ve Bağımsız Denetim A.Ş. (Sworn in Certified Public Accountancy and Independent Audit Services) and UHY-Avrupa Serbest Muhasebecilik ve Mali Müşavirlik Ltd. Şti. (Accounting and bookkeeping services. The group also provides its clients professional management consultancy services to assist them in the institutionalization of their companies.
Through the partnership with the international network, the client portfolio of UHY Turkey was increased sharply. And the domestic and foreign firms started to be provided with upper level services.
